AI Engineer

What you’ll do?

• Build agentic AI solutions in collaboration with our team, from architecture to deployment
• Design prompts, interaction logic, and output validation
• Monitor and optimize agent reliability, performance and resource usage
• Identify and implement new AI use cases aligned with business needs
• Translate operational workflows into AI-driven automations
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, scalable integrations
• Evaluate and benchmark new models/tools before adoption

What we are looking for in you:

We are looking for an AI engineer with strong technical capabilities, curiosity and a clear focus on using tech to drive business value. 

You have a natural inclination toward automation, critical thinking about trade-offs (accuracy vs. speed, cost vs. performance), and a strong sense of ownership. 

You value simplicity over complexity, embrace coding best-practices, understand the risks associated with AI systems (data, security, compliance), and can collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams to deliver solutions that actually get used.

• 1+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI systems in production
• Experience building multi-step LLM workflows (agents, chains, tools)
• Familiarity with some orchestration framework (LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI SDK, Pydantic AI)
• Experience monitoring AI solutions with LangSmith and reading LLM traces and cloud logs
• Experience interfacing with various LLMs (GPT family, Claude, Gemini…)
• Deep understanding on how prompting affects agentic AI workflows
• Experience in Pytest tests
• Good knowledge of Git
• Good knowledge and commitment to code best practices
• Great communications skills, both in English and Spanish
• Able to translate complex business requirements into feasible technical user stories

Nice to have:

• Experience with Python web frameworks: FastAPI (preferred) or Flask
• Experience with SQL databases integrated into Python projects (SQLAlchemy, Alembic)
• Experience with RAG systems and vector databases
• Experience with LLMs in the cloud (Azure AI Foundry or AWS Bedrock)
• Experience deploying and operating public cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure or GCP)
